Sono lieto di presentare ai lettori italiani lo scrittore e pittore Üzeyir Lokman ÇAYCI (nelle sezione arte potete vedere interessanti suoi lavori).Lo ringrazio innanzitutto per gli apprezzamenti e la gentile concessione al sito, (mi ha scritto dalla Francia dove risiede). La collaborazione, il dialogo fra gli artisti che sono nati e si stanno sviluppando, mi ripagano dei molti sforzi e dell'impegno che dedico a queste pagine e ritengo siano veramente, al di là delle opinioni personali sulle opere, un motivo di riflessione. L'arte è conoscenza, confronto, e, nel rispetto di ogni individualità, collaborazione creativa. Ancora un grazie, veramente sentito, alla traduttrice Valeria Allais che ha collaborato alle note biografiche e mi ha aiutato nella traduzione di alcune mie poesie per la Francia.(Alla fine mi sono quasi piaciute di più in francese). Spero sia solo l'inizio di una collaborazione e che le sue qualità artistiche possano trovare stimoli anche per originali creazioni.

Questa poesia mi è arrivata da poco dal poeta e artista Turco Üzeyir Lokman ÇAYCI del quale nel mio sito Arte e Letteratura ho presentato alcune opere e ho tradotto dal francese alcune sue poesie, inedite per l' Italia Quella che vedete è la versione francese a cura di Yakup Yurt. che ne cura la diffusione in Francia, presto sarà affiancata dalla mia traduzione. Intanto ringrazio l'Autore dei bei versi e considero l'invio un grande onore, invito tutti a leggerli con molta attenzione.....
Aggiungo che poche cose sono più belle delle amicizie tra artisti lontani, che non si conoscono, di persona, che hanno comunicato e comunicano con le loro opere..... forse a loro troppe parole non servono....

He is a poet, a writer, a versatile artist... He was born in 1949 in Bor that is one of the beautiful cities of Turkey. He attended primary and high school there. And then he graduated as an Architect - Designer of Industry from The Fine Arts Academy of State in Istanbul. His important works are, Akşamların Durağı , Karar, he has many poetries, stories and articles as well. It was called every body attention to his fine arts drawing / painting pictures since 14 years old. His poetries were translated into French by Yakup YURT who loves art. The Reward of Eagerness was given by The Radio NPS of Holland in 1999 and The Reward of Palmares was given by The Organization of Les Amis de Thalie in France to him. He placed in a poem competition from the same Organization at the same year too. He works in The Center of Adult Education ( AFPA) at present.

Qui est Üzeyir Lokman ÇAYCI?
Üzeyir Lokman ÇAYCI est né en Turquie, à Bor, sous-préfecture réputée pour ses verdures. Il a terminé ses études primaires et secondaires dans cette petite ville. Ensuite, il a réussi en même temps le concours national d'admission à l'université et à l'Ecole Supérieure des Arts Industriels Appliqués de l'Académie des Beaux-Arts de l'Etat dont il est sorti en 1975, avec le diplôme d'architecte intérieure et de concepteur industriel. Ses travaux pleins d'originalité n'ont pas tardé à attirer l'attention des connaisseurs. Ensuite il a été admis aux expositions et ses oeuvres ont été publiées dans les revues spécialisées. A sa sortie d'école, il a commencé à travailler au Département de R&D aux Fonderies appartenant au fameux Koç Holding, groupe industriel turc, où il a excellé dans les travaux de design. Ses conceptions pour les boutons de fours se sont concrétisées en production industrielle.
Durant son service militaire, effectué avec le grade de sous-lieutenant, en collaboration avec des amis, il a contribué au sauvegarde de diverses;uvres historiques (statues, reliefs, etc;), exposées ensuite au Musée Marin de Besiktas.
Les poèmes et les nouvelles, écrits dès l'âge de 14 ans, ont été publiés dans divers revues et journaux, tant nationaux qu'anatoliens. La presse, les revues et les anthologies ont réservé un bel accueil à ses créations. L'intérêt qu'Ümit Yasar OGUZCAN, poète turc de grande renommée, a témoigné à son égard lui a permis d'accéder à des plates-formes importantes. A Esir Kulüp de Beyoglu à İstanbul, regroupant de grands poètes chevronnés du pays, il a récité durant des années ses poèmes dans l'ambiance musicale des soirées de poésie.
Il a créé une archive des lettres envoyées par des milliers d'amateurs de poésie. Les travaux de traduction de ses poèmes en français, en anglais et en allemand sont en cours.
Üzeyir Lokman ÇAYCI a publié son recueil de poésie "L'Arrêt des Soirs" en 1975 et une biographie en 1989 en langue turque. Dans les mois à venir "Tu n'es pas coupable, ami" (poèmes), "Le monde turc à l'étranger" (recherche), "On m'a arraché mon fils de mes mains" (roman) et "La Turquie en Europe" (recherche) seront présentés à l'appréciation des bibliophiles.
Les jolis poèmes traduits en français par Yakup YURT, valeureux traducteur, interprète, amoureux des arts et écrivain vivant à Bruxelles, suscitent pas mal d'intérêt dans la presse française et auprès d'organismes compétents. Actuellement, fort du soutien de Yakup YURT, connu pour sa modestie et sa compétence, Üzeyir Lokman ÇAYCI poursuit ses travaux en France.
Il s'est marié avec Neziha en 1995. A la suite de plusieurs stages, il travaille depuis 1991 à l'AFPA (Association pour la Formation Professionnelle des Adultes).

Üzeyir Lokman ÇAYCI kimdir?
Üzeyir Lokman ÇAYCI 1949 yılında Türkiye'nin yeşilliği ile meşhur Bor ilçesinde doğdu. İlk, orta ve lise tahsilini aynıilçede tamamladı. Sonra, üniversite giriş sınavı yanında ikinci bir sınav daha kazanarak Devlet Güzel Sanatlar Akademisi Uygulamalı Endüstri Sanatları Yüksek Okulu'na girdi. Bu okuldan 1975 yılında iç mimar ve endüstri tasarımcısı olarak mezun oldu. Yaptığı özgün çalışmalar bilenlerin dikkâtini çekmekte gecikmemiş sergi, dergi ve mecmualarda kabul görmüştür. Mezuniyetinden sonra Koç Holding Demir Döküm Fabrikaları Araştırma-Geliştirme bölümünde çalıştı.
Asteğmen olarak yaptığı askerlik hizmeti süresince, arkadaşları ile birlikte, çeşitli tarihi eserlerin (heykel, rölyef, vs) kurtarılmasına ve daha sonra da Beşiktaş Deniz Müzesinde sergilenmesine katkıda bulundu.
14 yaşından itibaren yazdığı şiir ve hikâyeler çeşitli gazete ve dergiler kendisine büyük ilgi gösterdi. Basın, dergi ve antolojiler onun içtenlik dolu kreasyonlarına kucak açtı. Tanınmış çağdaş Türk şairi Ümit Yaşar OĞUZCAN'dan gördüğü yakın ilgi onu önemli platformlara taşıdı. İstanbul Beyoğlu'nda emektar şairlerin de üyesi olduğu Esir Kulüp'ün müzikli şiir gecelerinde şiirlerini yıllarca okudu ve takdir gördü.
Binlerce şiirseverden aldığı mektupları arşivlemiş olup, günümüzde şiirleri Fransızca, İngilizce ve Almanca dillerine çevrilmektedir.
Şu ana kadar 1975 te Akşamların Durağı adli şiir kitabı ve 1989 da biyografi kitabı Türkçe olarak yayınlanmıştır. Önümüzdeki aylar içinde ise Sen Suçlu Değilsin Arkadaş (şiirler), Gurbette Türk Dünyası (araştırma), Oğlumu Elimden Aldılar (roman), Avrupa'da Türkiye (araştırma) okurların beğenisine sunulacak. Brüksel'de yaşayan değerli çevirmen, tercüman, sanat aşığı ve yazar Yakup YURT tarafından Fransızca'ya çevrilen güzel şiirlere Fransız basın-yayın dünyasında ve yetkili kuruluşlar nezdinde gitgide artan bir ilgi gözlenmektedir. Halen, alçak gönüllü ve kompetan Yakup YURT' tan aldığı destek ile, Üzeyir Lokman ÇAYCI çalışmalarını Fransa'da sürdürmektedir.
Neziha hanım ile 1995 te evlenen şair, yaşamını kazanmak için 1991 yılından beri AFPA'da (Yetişkinler Meslek Eğitim Merkezi) çalışmaktadır.

Üzeyir Lokman ÇAYCI es un poeta nacido en Bor (Turquía), sub-prefectura muy afamada por sus verduras y hortalizas. Realizó estudios primarios y secundarios en esta pequeña ciudad turca. Luego hizo la carrera universitaria en la Escuela Superior de Artes Industriales Aplicadas de la Academia de Bellas Artes del Estado, de donde salió en 1975, con el diploma de Arquitecto de Interiores y Consejero Industrial. Sus trabajos, plenos de originalidad, han llamado permanentemente la atención de los entendidos, por lo que han sido admitidos en muchas exposiciones. Igualmente sus obras aparecen publicadas en revistas especializadas. Escritor de extraordinaria sensibilidad social, se perfila como uno de los poetas más lúcidos de Turquía, con una fuerte presencia en Europa, donde ya es leído con entusiasmo.

Üzeyir Lokman ÇAYCI, Innenarchtekt, Industrieplaner und Schriftsteller, wurde 1949 in Bor/Türkei geboren. Im Alter von 14 Jahren begann er mit dem Schreiben von Gedichten und Novellen, die bisher in verschiedenen anatolischen Zeitschriften und Magazinen publiziert wurden. Weitere Veröffentlichungen in Zeitschriften und Anthologien schufen ihm eine willkommene Möglichkeit, seine Werke zu präsentieren.
Seit 1995 ist er mit seiner Frau Neziha verheiratet. Nach verschiedenen Lehrgängen und Fortbildungen arbeitet er seit 1991 bei der l´AFPA(Association pour la Formation Professionnel des Adultes) in Frankreich, als Ausbilder in der Erwachsenenbildung.
Ümit Yasar OGUZCAN, renommierter türkischer Schriftsteller, überzeugt von ÇAYCI ´s Werken, verschaffte ihm freien Zugang zu den wichtigsten Literaturplattformen, die er heute sein zweites Zuhause nennt.
Üzeyir Lokman ÇAYCI publizierte 1975 die Lyriksammlung "L´Arrêt des Soir" (Stillstand am Abend)
Und 1989 eine Biographie in türkischer Sprache.
Die schönen Gedichte wurden von Yakup YURT übersetzt, geprüfter Übersetzer und Dolmetscher. Er ist Kunstliebhaber und lebendiger Schriftsteller in Brüssel, Belgien, gefeiert von der französischen Presse und fachkundigen Stellen. Durch die große Unterstützung von Yakup YURT, der für seine Bescheidenheit und Kompetenz bekannt ist, war es Üzeyir Lokman ÇAYCI möglich, seine Arbeiten in Frankreich fortzusetzen.

C'était au printemps 2003 que ma chère amie, Sara Russell, rédactrice de l'e-zine anglais, Poetry Life and Times, m'a envoyé un courriel, dans lequel elle m'a demandé si je voulais bien faire la traduction en anglais de plusieurs poèmes composés par Üzeyir Lokman Çayci. Ce dernier poète turc très doué, qui réside actuellement en France, avait en effet déjà établi une belle réputation internationale. Comme de raison, j'ai dûment consenti à sa requête et j'ai également offert de traduire en anglais une interview que j'avais faite en français avec ledit poète dans le numéro d'août 2002 de Poetry Life and Times. Bien que l'oeuvre poétique intégrale d'Üzeyir soit presque entièrement composée en turc, des dizaines de ses poèmes sont traduits en plusieurs langues, plus particulièrement en français, mais souvent aussi en anglais, en espagnol, en italien et en allemand, entre autres.
Tandis qu'Üzeyir Lokman Çayci est bien connu en Europe, il ne l'est pas en Amérique du Nord. J'ai donc le très grand honneur de vous présenter ce poète international bien estimé, dans l'espoir que le milieu littéraire nord-américain l'accueille à bras ouverts. J'ajoute en passant que Yakup Yurt, le traducteur officiel en français à partir des oeuvres composées en turc de ce grand poète, a toujours démontré une capacité remarquable de reformuler les poèmes turcs en poésie française d'une sensibilité émouvante. Il y a effectivement trois traducteurs anglais, voire : F. J. Bergmann, Joneve McCormick et moi-même. Dommage que je ne comprends pas du tout le turc! Par conséquent, je n'ai recours qu'aux traductions antérieures faites par Yakup Yurt en français. Reste quand même que ses traductions sont d'une fine exactitude, d'autant plus que les diverses adaptations faites par les trois traducteurs anglais susmentionnés témoignent d'une uniformité remarquable.
Je vous encourage donc, chers lecteurs, à visualiser quelques-uns des sites principaux de ce merveilleux poète turc. In the Spring of 2002, my dear friend, Sara Russell, Editor of Poetry Life and Times (UK) contacted me via e-mail, asking me whether I would volunteer to translate several poems by an internationally well established and highly creative Turkish poet, Üzeyir Lokman Çayci, who currently resides in France. I gladly obliged, and even offered to translate into English for the August, 2002 Editorial in Poetry Life and Times an interview I held with Üzeyir in French. While Üzeyir Lokman Çayci is a very popular poet in Europe, he is not well-known in North America. Since so much of his poetry has been translated into equally fine French verse, and is now being gradually translated into English as well, I thought best to formally introduce one of the world's most illustrious poets to the North American literary scene. I should also note, in passing, that Üzeyir Lokman Çayci has his official Turkish-French translator, Yakup Yurt, who has consistently penned some very moving French renditions of Üzeyir's original Turkish verse. Since I myself, as one of three or four English translators (the others being F.J. Bergmann and Joneve McMcCormick) , do not understand Turkish at all, I must rely completely on the faithfulness of Yakup Yurt's French translations. That his translations are both accurate and just we may, however, rest assured. It is also notable that all of his English translators have exercised the same measure of care and sensibility in their translations of Üzeyir Lokman Çayci's splendid poems. This can be readily attested by the fact that there exists a remarkable consistency in wording and in tone of the English translations effected by the translators mentioned here.
